North Shore Villas #1002 Spacious Oceanfront Condo

Nice Location
Nice location. Spacious for all 6 of us. Concern there is Mold in the Unit. Vents had some black. Needs updates. Couches are worn out. Those need to be replaced. Beds are awful. My back hurt all week. They are definitely worn out. You should have a comfortable rest on vacation.
Owner Direct was Awesome to work with. I do Recommend Them. I would recommend this property but NOT Unit 1002.

Review
The condo was nice. It was clean and well maintained, for the most part. However, the couches are worn because when you sit the cushions sink down. The beds were not good. Every time you move or turn they squeaked.
Other than those 2 things it was a good week. It was spacious enough for 3 couples and the scenery from the deck was great.

A heavenly retreat
The condo is very spacious and is well equipped. The view on the ocean is absolutely marvellous. The building is well maintained and is very clean. The furniture is a little outdated but the condo is so well located that we really appreciated our stay. Would rent again.

Had a great time!
The rental unit was spacious with enough room for all guests to spread out in their own bedrooms. The amenities were good, view was great and weather even better. The only issue we had was a coffee pot that didn't work, but management company was there within 15 minutes of calling them and had a new one in hand! Great service...Thank you for that!

Superb Condo Accommodations
Our golf group stayed in this condo for 5 nights. Everyone loved it and referred to it as our "first class accommodations". The condo was in excellent condition, very comfortable and well-appointed. Its location was perfect for access to numerous quality golf courses and fine dining. The beach front location was beautiful. We will definitely be back for our next visit to North Myrtle!!

Fantastic North Myrtle Beach Rental On The Beach!
We stayed in Unit 1002 NorthShore Villas for 15 days. The condo was so nice! It was clean, very well maintained, spacious for 5 people, comfortable in all respects, and had wonderful views of the ocean from the kitchen, dining room, living room, master bedroom and bath, balcony and one hallway. The location was very convenient to restaurants, shops, entertainment, and night life, but was 10 blocks away from most of these so that the location was quiet. Also, the relatively small size of the condo building made beach access and pools access excellent and uncrowded every day and all day. The pools and landscaping were excellent as well. We highly recommend this Unit!

North Myrtle Beach stay
Upside-The condo was spacious for 3 adult couples and it was comfortable have our own bedrooms/bathrooms.The master bat shower was spacious.The oceanview is FABULOUS with a nice balcony. The building is quiet and the elevators are fast.The beach was close, clean and wasn't crowded at all. Downside-the condo REALLY needs to be updated and deep cleaning done.The carpet is stained and the furniture is uncomfortable. We question the cleaning of the bedding in between guests based on the departure instructions. We had to buy our own pillows.The dryer is hit or miss on how well it dries clothes. 2 bathroom sinks had plug issues. The TV in one of the bedrooms is super small. WiFi is spotty. As for the property,the outdoor pool is not located in the sun and the hot tub was always occupied by young kids. We rented 3 umbrellas and 6 chairs from the city and had no place to store them. There was an alcove outside our unit but was told they needed to be kept inside. It would have been nice to have access to the storage clost.The workout room was a joke. It is very hard to see getting out of the garage, even with the mirror. As for the rental company,it would have been nice to have some starter supplies for at least the first day such as TP,soap,paper towels,etc. Our unit was not ready on time. We were not able to get in until 2 hours past check in. This is an honest review. There is no intention to complain about things. As a family,we enjoyed our stay. Would we stay in this unit again? Probably not unless it gets updated, then we definitely would.

Top Notch
This place...�� I can't say enough good things about it! The location was perfectly placed in the upscale area of N.Myrtle Beach.The Beach wasn't crowded in spite of an event & it's only a few miles from Barefoot Landing. The condo was nicely decorated & there was plenty of room inside & the balcony was very spacious. My ONLY complaint would be that the blankets in top of the closet were not clean in a couple of the rooms & many surfaces throughout the condo were dusty enough to write your name in. I mentioned it to management when checking out & they thanked me & seemed eager to rectify the problem. Tyrone, the on-call person of the management team, came right over when I had a problem connecting to wifi (bc they switched providers). I had work that needed to be done before returning home & he didn't hesitate to take care of the problem. Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation home.

Fantastic Accommodations on the Beach
We stayed for 5 days in October 2021 and found Unit 1002 to be simply fantastic. The Unit was very clean, well-appointed, well-stocked in all respects (even with beach chairs and beach toys for the children, games and books), bright and cheerful, and simply excellent in all respects. The views of the beach from multiple rooms and the great balcony were excellent, and we noticed a brand new table on the balcony. We would all highly recommend this unit and believe it was a great value for the price we paid!The fewer units in North Shore Villas compared with other locations also was a big plus, as there was never any problem at any time obtaining a super spot on the beach. The pools, fitness room and wonderful landscaping and flowers really made you feel you were in a special getaway location!Restaurants, shops and entertainment were all minutes away! We will plan to go back very soon!

Beautiful views from the balcony made me want to get up early to watch the sunrise. A lot to do in North Myrtle Beach made it unnecessary to go to the downtown area.

We had a wonderful experience. Beautiful and well kept grounds. Elevator was never crowded or a problem. Beautiful view from the balcony with two tables for outside eating. Spacious and comfortable. Great location
This property is surrounded by smaller properties, which made the beach way less crowded and enjoyable. The chair rental was in front of the very short walk to the beach. The property was clean and well maintained.
The room itself needs updated with modern appliances and new furniture. The 10th floor view was perfect, and the elevators were quick every time. The room wasn't ready until after 5:30pm which was a pain, but there are many good places to eat while waiting.

Overall we had a very good experience. There were a couple of issues that we were concerned about. #1- we were very disappointed that we could not use the pool area for the entire 3 months. Repair on railing was supposed to be completed in February and was never done. #2- the number of times we didn’t have water due to work being done.

Fantastic stay in great comfort at the beach!
This Unit was fantastic in all respects during our 10-day stay! It was very clean and comfortable. Our guests who stayed with us also loved it. Convenient to Main Street, restaurants of all types, golfing, Calabash NC and shopping. New microwave just installed. Many beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach toys for the children and noodles and body boards were all available for us. That was not the case in most of the other units in which we have stayed! Gets an A plus from us and our guests. Really great! Will come back

Perfect rental for us
The condo was very roomy with really good sized bedrooms and a nice sized living area. It had everything we needed including extras such as beach chairs and toys for the kids. The smaller pool and lazy river were perfect for the children ranging from 6 to 9 but accommodating enough for adults to enjoy also. None of the public areas were ever too crowded to enjoy. We were particularly pleased that the beach areas did not get overcrowded. There was plenty of room to spread out with our chairs and umbrellas and everyone not be right up under each other. The proximity to the beach is wonderful with a quick elevator ride down and just a few steps past the pool. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. There are several restaurants and stores close by including a Kroger and a Walmart both within five minutes drive.

Truly Fantastic Ocean Front Condo
This condo was in outstanding condition and had everything. The owner even provided beach chairs and beach toys for the children for our use. The beds were just excellent. I have stayed in many condos in North Myrtle but never one in which there were two king beds and two queen beds. The balcony had two different tables and plenty of seating for everyone staying in the unit. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and even had a crock pot, a blender, and two different types of coffee makers including a Keurig. The pool. lazy river and jacuzzi were spotless and very enjoyable, and the location right on the sand was perfect, especially if you had young children who had to go back and forth from the beach for naps. No doubt we will try to get this condo for every future stay in North Myrtle!!!!

Our rental experience was excellent. Location was perfect and we were very pleased with condo

The only problem we had was with the only chair in the living room. It was very uncomfortable and difficult to get in and out of. The condo really needs a reclining chair to replace the chair that is there. All other condos that we have visited always have a comfortable reclining chair in the living room.

We are coming back next year and would like to see the addition of such a chair.

Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed review. The owner will certainly get your message and hopefully agree to your decor suggestion. They are always very hands-on with the upkeep of this condo and certainly glad that you are loyal repeat guests. The North Shore Villas is a wonderful smaller complex in the heart of Crescent Beach. Anything that you could desire on vacation is a 5 minute drive in any direction. The smaller size also means less crowded by the pool and elevators in the summer. Expensive price for a cheap condo
We paid the most we had ever paid for a month's vacation at the beach and were in the worse condo we have ever stayed in. I'll describe a few of the problems. The microwave had the lower corner broken off and the control panel was shaky. Owner wouldn't replace-office said it was safe to use (I can only hope it was!) The washer would only wash 4 towels and 4 wash cloths at a time. Even worse the dryer took over 1 hour and 30 minutes to dry those 4 towels and wash cloths. I spent forever doing laundry for my vacation. The door had no chain lock or anything for extra security. Housekeeping walked in on us the second day without even knocking! Owner refused to put a simple chain or fold over lock--so any of their personnel could walk right in anytime. Furniture was dated and uncomfortable-We used our beach chairs in the living room. We loved the condo's location. Outside was beautiful. We spent alot of time on the balcony looking at the ocean.

When you called the office to ask about our cleaning staff's visit, we did follow up with the assigned housekeeper and she explained that you had met her at the door, just after she had knocked and announced her arrival, but she had not heard a response from anyone inside. Wonderful layout and QUIET room!
Loved the location of this condo... away from elevator (but not too far!) and inside had a great layout with 2 rooms up front and the master in the back (with access to balcony and ocean views). Everyone had their own bathroom and there was plenty of seating for everyone including on the balcony! We had such a good time and the storage space in the condo was enormous! Thanks for the outside storage as well for beach supplies! Loved having a grocery cart as well as regular luggage racks to carry our stuff (Lord knows groceries don't work too well on luggage racks). Everything we needed to cook a few meals was supplied. Wonderful family vacation! Only thing disappointing was the "gym"... no free weights or universal machine.. bleh. I would love to have had a tiki bar on the pool deck area to complete the amenities here. Our first experience with "crabbing" (that's not what it's called) and we left our pails and flashlights for the next people to enjoy.. just look out the balcony at dusk if you're wondering what everyone is doing out there with their flashlights on the beach... free, silly, fun. (catch and release). Who knew??? We had fun each night doing that then getting in the lazy river/hot tub :)

This condo was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. I liked the location of this condo on the beach. My suggestion would be to book the condo directly through Owners Direct Vacation Rentals. VRBO will charge additional fees to go through them and ODVR does all the work. The people at ODVR did a great job.

North Myrtle Beach 2017
We stayed at North Shore Villas Unit #1002 the week of August 13th through the 20th. The unit was very clean and appeared to have new carpeting and was decorated nicely. It was very spacious with a large oceanfront balcony with plenty of patio furniture. The kitchen cabinets were well stocked with plates, cups, pots and pans, etc. Everything you could possibly need!
Location was great and close to shopping and restaurants. We were able to get to Barefoot Landings in about 10 minutes and Broadway at the Beach within 20 minutes or so.
Beachfront was not crowded either since this is not one of those huge oceanfront resorts. Nice pool area plus a lazy river. And the weather was absolutely gorgeous the entire week! Just a few late afternoon showers but nothing interfered with our beach time.
This is the first time we have rented from Owner Direct Vacation Rentals and they were extremely helpful with the reservation process and throughout our stay. Amber and Tracy were both very friendly and professional. And we had absolutely no issues with our unit.
We have been vacationing in North Myrtle Beach for over 25 years. I would highly recommend Owner Direct Vacation Rentals. The unit was as promised, and everything went smoothly from the reservation process to picking up our keys and passes. We were checking in on a Sunday and our packet was ready for us to pick up when we arrived in the afternoon. Our unit was perfect and I would definitely consider renting it again in the future.

Wow, there is not much more I can say, Thank you. You are correct, this is a great property at North Shore Villas #1002, it does have everything you could possible need and then some. The owners of this property have thought of everything, they want you to enjoy their beautiful property, a home away from home. Outstanding in all respects!!
This condo has been completely updated. It has 2 king beds and 2 queen beds (very unusual and beneficial)and all new carpeting. It was very well-furnished and the appearance was beautiful. The views of the ocean from multiple locations inside and outside on the balcony were great. We ate all our meals on the multiple tables on the balcony. The three baths were in excellent condition and made for a comfortable stay for all. It is close to all the action on Main Street but the 10-block distance made it quiet and enjoyable. The small number of condos within many blocks made beach access easy and uncrowded. What a fantastic place-we will be back!!

Our stay at North Shore Villas myrtle beach South Carolina
The condo was very clean. It was very well kept. It was beautiful. The view from the balcony was breath taking. The access to the beach was very convient. The managing company was very helpful and informative. The location was wonderfully centralized with access to all the local attractions. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo during our vacation. We would welcome the opportunity to stay in your condo again at anytime. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. Family Vacay
Condo was perfect again this year...upgrades are fabulous. HOA personnel was seemed too busy fussing with renters & not busy enough cleaning the dirty pool area.. Outdoor areas dirty & I stepped over the same 3 pieces of trash the entire week until I picked them up on Friday.
