Wonderful place
We had a family reunion with 4 generations with ages from 7 months to 93. The needs of all four generations were accommodated in these three units. The units were clean and comfortable. The owner and stall of Owner Direct Vacation Rentals were excellent.
We will definitely book with them next time we are there!

Unforgettable Vacation


From the moment we checked in until the time we checked out, we experienced the best hospitality we’ve ever had. Every detail at this property is designed to ensure a seamless and relaxing vacation.

One of the highlights was the well-organized binder provided at check-in, filled with detailed information about the rental. It answered many of the questions we had and made settling in a breeze. If we ever needed anything during our stay, the responses were immediate—truly above and beyond service!

This property absolutely deserves more than 5 stars. It had everything we needed to complete our vacation experience. One of the most convenient features was its location directly across the street from the beach. For anyone like me who finds it a hassle to lug beach chairs, coolers, and toys long distances, this place is a dream! Even better, the property provided beach chairs, toys, and floats for us to use, which saved so much space in our vehicle and allowed us to focus on packing just our luggage.

The kitchen was another pleasant surprise. It was stocked with high-quality pots, pans, utensils, and cutlery everything we needed to cook meals with ease. The bedrooms were incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds and excellent mattresses, ensuring a great night’s sleep. There were also plenty of blankets provided, adding to our comfort.

The bathrooms were spotless, equipped with plenty of towels and washcloths. The water pressure in the showers was excellent, which made for a refreshing experience.

All in all, I was extremely impressed with this property and I am already looking forward to staying here again in the future. If you’re looking for a perfect beach vacation, this is the place to be!

Excellent rental
This rental was perfect for my family. We love to grill and cook for the group and having three kitchens (fully stocked) was a huge plus. For reference - air fryer, kureg, coffee maker, crock pot, blender, and all of the pots and pans you will need. The back yard area was great - private, offered shaded areas, lots of seating. Having a pool was awesome. Tons of chairs and beach items are provided.

The houses were very clean. Now for the negatives, which are by far outweighed by the positives. No hand towels or wash clothes were provid sure that played a role. We quickly noticed that the upstairs wasn’t cooling well. After a quick look at the windows we realized most of them were open slightly at the top. Once we closed them completely and locked them the AC kept the upstairs cool.

One thing to note is that these are separate duplexes and are not connected inside. Which was a plus in our situation and offer more privacy.

Beach access is great. It is a straight shot from the house which was good for my elderly parents.

The homeowner reached out the morning of our arrival and got a list of our favorite drinks to stock the fridge. Who does that??? What a nice gesture and very unexpected.

We bring a large group to this area every year and have paid substantially more for less. Taking the cost into consideration, this is easily the best home for the price we’ve ever rented. We will definitely be back.

Annual Golf Trip
We had 10 golfers stay in the bottom, top and the Nest. We had ample space and great accommodations! Will stay here again.

Great Family Retreat
This was our second stay here, and once again was a wonderful choice for our family. We were greeted warmly by the staff, and check-in was a breeze. Our family came in from all directions to reunite in a comfortable home across the street from the beach—we really had a wonderful time here. Renovations made since our last stay were a big plus, without changing the original character of the house. We love this house, and hope to stay here again. Many thanks to the staff for looking after our needs and making sure we felt right at home!

Last Minute Family Time
The house was quite large and comfortable for our family group of 16. The kids loved the pool right outside the back door. The Ocean right across the street with a beach access right in front of the house was so wonderful. Bob was a gracious host that cared about our satisfaction with the house, and we couldn't have asked for any better service from the staff at ODVR.

What a fantastic place to stay, house was clean and beds were comfortable. Could ask for a better location, right across the street from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Owner of the house is the owner of the realtor company and stays next door. He and his wife stopped by a couple of times while we were out and would ask if there was anything we needed. We would stay here again if available next time we travel to Myrtle Beach!!!

Good Time Had by All
The house had all we needed. The owner has done a lot of upgrades, it had all we needed. Plenty of room, beds for everyone, very clean and just a quick walk across the street to the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a coffee and relaxing.

Great Family Trip celebrating Easter
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at your beach house during Easter. It was much better than the snow in New England. Check-in was a breeze and located a few blocks from the beach house. The location is perfect! The beach is directly across the street from the house. The owner provided beach chairs, unbrellas and a beach wagon. Usually we have to pack these items when staying at other beach house rentals. We sipped coffee each morning and enjoyed evening cocktails nightly on the large porch. You can see and hear the ocean waves from the second floor porch. The kitchen has everything needed to make family meals and is well-stocked. I Highly recommend this property. The new bathroom is beautiful. We highly recommend renting this house. We plan to return next year!

Great location!
This house was the perfect location for Thanksgiving with family at the beach! It is comfortable for a group, and easy to maintain when cooking and dining. Although we did not take advantage of the pool and grills we were impressed by their availability had we needed them. ODVR is probably the nicest and most accommodating host we have ever worked with, answering our questions and needs during our stay, and maintaining contact even after office hours. Overall, a great experience!

The perfect stay!
When we arrived we were greeted by the most professional and polite staff that work at the front desk. We had no issues finding the property as the directions were spot on. Very clean place, the owner offers everything you need for a stay at the beach it is well accommodated. The pool felt amazing, the water was great. Nice to have a pool available and the beach within less than a minutes walk. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have the best vacation of their life.

Best Stay Ever!!!!
Loved every detail of this house. We got a big surprise a check in when learned that the owner had installed a pool !!! The kids loved it even more then going to the beach. The split level home allowed my brother and his family and my family to vacation together but have private time when needed. Last thing I would like to add is the vacation rental was spotless that is always one of my wife’s biggest concerns when traveling, and they exceeded her expectation !!!
