5 Sea Gals House & The Nest Cottage
Nicely remodeled interiors of both are freshly painted w/ updated vinyl flooring & newly carpeted bedrooms, all well furnished and decorated. The roomy 2-story house AND cottage combined offer a total of 8 bedrooms/5 baths and more multi-family areas for easy outdoor gathering, grilling & pool time. A new kitchen downstairs w/ quartzite counter tops, full size appliances, & eat-in dining space is abundantly stocked for cooking. Two newly tiled guest bathrooms w/ walk-in showers, new vanities, new toilet, while the other two en-suite baths are updated tub/shower combinations.
Two separate levels, both floors are accessible from exterior stairs, using either front or back doors. Both top & bottom levels are a "mirror image" layout includes: (2) kitchens, (6) bedrooms, (4) baths, (2) family rooms, (2) dining spaces, (2) covered porches & a shared, exterior laundry room. PLUS, the private guest house has (2) more bedrooms (1) full bath/tub, it's own kitchen & family room, too.
Each floor has an identical bedding arrangement w/ new mattresses: 1 King bed (guest room), 2 Full Beds (guest room) & 1 Queen Bed (private full bath/tub/shower). It's a spacious layout for multiple families with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, per floor. Up & down master bedrooms feature a Queen bed with private bathroom, tub/shower combo. Then, one guest room offers 2 DOUBLE beds (sleeps 4 per room). The 3rd guest room has a KING bed & shares the hall bath (shower stall only/no tub). Bathrooms are nicely updated (2023) in this classic home. The addtional "NEST" cottage has 2 bedrooms (Queen) and shared bathroom. Your reservation includes fresh bed linens & bath towels, with every bed already made upon arrival.
New flat screen TV's in all bedrooms & family room areas. Plenty of seating for family gatherings in the living rooms, with sofa(s) & recliners. The 2 kitchens offer full size appliances (New Fridge, Stove, Dishwasher Downstairs) complete with large dining tables, enough seating to enjoy meals & game nights together. Great grilling options (charcoal & gas) for hot dogs & burgers around the outdoor tables & chairs & umbrellas, Your group will find the perfect oasis for a cool plunge in the new pool. After a sunny, salty beach day, relax on any of the 3 shady covered porches in rocking chairs or swing.
In the heart of Windy Hill, North Myrtle Beach, is our most popular destination, Barefoot Landing. Enjoy Broadway-style LIVE music productions at The Alabama Theatre. Famous concert performances are a regular at the House of Blues & over 100 shops & restaurants criss-cross the boardwalks over the open waters. The waterfront complex has undergone a huge makeover in the Spring of 2019 to bring in fresh new specialty boutiques and great eateries. There are kids attractions & weekly summer outdoor concerts to go with the fireworks displays. You'll find everything from beach wear, shoe shopping, wonderful sweet shops filled with treats, LIVE aligators. Last Minute Family Time
The house was quite large and comfortable for our family group of 16. The kids loved the pool right outside the back door. The Ocean right across the street with a beach access right in front of the house was so wonderful. What a fantastic place to stay, house was clean and beds were comfortable. Could ask for a better location, right across the street from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Owner of the house is the owner of the realtor company and stays next door. He and his wife stopped by a couple of times while we were out and would ask if there was anything we needed. Good Time Had by All
The house had all we needed. The owner has done a lot of upgrades, it had all we needed. Plenty of room, beds for everyone, very clean and just a quick walk across the street to the beach. Great Family Trip celebrating Easter
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at your beach house during Easter. It was much better than the snow in New England. Check-in was a breeze and located a few blocks from the beach house. The location is perfect! The beach is directly across the street from the house. The owner provided beach chairs, unbrellas and a beach wagon. Usually we have to pack these items when staying at other beach house rentals. We sipped coffee each morning and enjoyed evening cocktails nightly on the large porch. You can see and hear the ocean waves from the second floor porch. The kitchen has everything needed to make family meals and is well-stocked. I Highly recommend this property. Great location!
This house was the perfect location for Thanksgiving with family at the beach! It is comfortable for a group, and easy to maintain when cooking and dining. Although we did not take advantage of the pool and grills we were impressed by their availability had we needed them. ODVR is probably the nicest and most accommodating host we have ever worked with, answering our questions and needs during our stay, and maintaining contact even after office hours. The perfect stay!
When we arrived we were greeted by the most professional and polite staff that work at the front desk. We had no issues finding the property as the directions were spot on. Very clean place, the owner offers everything you need for a stay at the beach it is well accommodated. The pool felt amazing, the water was great. Nice to have a pool available and the beach within less than a minutes walk. Best Stay Ever!!!!
Loved every detail of this house. We got a big surprise a check in when learned that the owner had installed a pool !!! The kids loved it even more then going to the beach. The split level home allowed my brother and his family and my family to vacation together but have private time when needed.
