Want to play great golf & not drive too far from the Myrtle Beach?
Known as "The Granddaddy," Pine Lakes is rich in Myrtle Beach golf history. The course was recently renovated from top to bottom, and the "new" layout is a superb blend of traditional and modern golf course design.
The course is home to the Myrtle Beach Golf Hall of Fame.
Arcadian Shores was the first course designed by renowned architect Rees Jones. It is a traditional layout using the natural features of the land and well-placed bunkers. With vastly improved course condition, the new management team has restored the luster on this fantastic layout. The Palmetto Course at Myrtlewood has been a Myrtle Beach favorite for over 30 years. The finishing holes along the Intracoastal Waterway are among the most interesting in the area.

Legends - Heathland is a Par 71 layout designed by Tom Doak. It is a traditional links style course with holes reminiscent of courses found in the British Isles. The strategically placed bunkers and prevailing breezes make this a challenging course that requires creative shot making and skill.
One of the top layouts in South Carolina, Heritage Club appears annually on lists for the top courses in the country. The course is set amid 300-year-old oak trees, giant magnolias, lakes and salt marshes.
P.B. Dye designed Legends - Moorland, son of noted golf course architect Pete Dye. The course is reminiscent of his father's PGA West Stadium Course design with its waste areas, undulations and bulkheads. This course requires "target" golf shot making, and will surely test the abilities of golfer's of all skill levels.
Awarded 1983 Golf Digest "Resort Course of the Year," and ranked by the same publication among the top 50 public courses in the country in 1990, Oyster Bay Golf Links is one of the most scenic courses on the Grand Strand. Architect Dan Maples carved a wonderful, visually appealing design where variety and innovation are the name of the game. Featuring holes with stunning views of the marsh, cavernous bunkers, undulating greens, and wicked lengthy par 4's two island green par threes, and fresh water lakes.
Legends - Parkland is modeled after the style of architects Alister MacKenzie, (Augusta National) and George Thomas (Riviera Country Club). Playing the unforgettably challenging fairway and greenside bunkering requires a deft touch off the tee and on the approach. From tee to green, strategy will be the order of the day on this stunning, par-72 playing field.

With the Barefoot Resort three round special, you pick three of the four fantastic courses located within Barefoot Resort. Famed architect Pete Dye maintains his reputation of building memorable - and challenging - courses. This visually stunning design is filled with Dye's infamous pitfalls for wary shots. Working with exceptional elevations, this course lives up to the Dye name.
A classic Lowcountry course, filled with live oaks, pines, sand, natural areas and native grasses, The Fazio course features handcrafted waste areas and formal bunkers. Natural elevation changes add a sense of drama and excitement to the golfing round.
Carolina native and PGA Tour professional Davis Love, III, may have solidified his reputation as a course designer with this creation at Barefoot Resort. Love built a course that was unique, visually striking and fun to play. The course even incorporates a replica of ruins from a 17th Century plantation house, similar to ruins found along holes in Scotland and Ireland.
Greg Norman's newest design at Barefoot Resort is unique in many ways. With only 60 acres of mowable grass existing on all 18 holes, Norman uses stunning waste areas and the site's natural vegetation to frame each hole. The course resembles one found in the deserts of the southwest, without the desert. The course also features several holes along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway.
